SynDeck™ Navy Epoxy Coating (SS5300) has been developed to enhance full system fire management properties, primarily for the NuFlexDeck system, designated Navy & IMO FTP Code certified. The formulation is an amine-cured epoxy topcoat with very low odor, is user friendly, has excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance, and cures to a resilient high-gloss film. It can be applied over sealed deck underlayments and properly prepared existing epoxy coatings resulting in a new high gloss finish in one or two coats. SynDeck™ Navy Epoxy Coating is self-leveling, has superior gloss and can be applied at lower temperatures (50°F/10°C) with no blushing. This product is a clear high gloss topcoat, and is dry for foot traffic overnight.
